Athena Maly is Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) Coordinator of Supports to Encourage Low-Income Families (SELF). Mrs. Maly assumed the responsibilities in June 2001 and oversees a staff of 8 HEAP Intake Specialists. In addition to overseeing SELF’s HEAP program, Athena is also spearheading Weatherization Intake for ButlerCounty, partnered with the Community Action Partnership of the Greater Dayton Area.
Athena was one of the first participants throughout Ohio to attend and graduate from the CommunityActionLeadershipAcademy in February 26, 2003.
A native of southwest Ohio, Athena graduated from SouthwesternCollege with a degree in business. She and her husband have five children.
